Monika Watson is a birth doula, postpartum & infant care doula, and infant feeding specialist in Greater Cincinnati. We are so excited to have her on our team. Today, we get to know her a little better.
What's your why? Doula work can be draining, physically and emotionally. Why do you do it?
My passion to help others during childbirth was sparked 6 years ago when I had the pleasure of providing support throughout the pregnancy and labor of a dear friend. From the very first ultrasound confirming her pregnancy, through child birthing classes, to the birth of her beautiful daughter. Helping to coach her through this process was something that felt natural to me. I truly enjoyed all learning aspects, from pregnancy to postpartum. Helping another woman to feel empowered and encouraging her as she goes through such a miraculous experience gives me great joy.
