It’s the dog days of summer in Cincinnati. As many of you know I’m nearing the end of my pregnancy and third-trimester, and it’s HOT. Mostly I’ve been satiating those pregnancy cravings with lots of watermelon (served occasionally with with a side of bacon); and while ice cream sounds wonderful, I’m not too fond of the heartburn it’s bringing this time around.
Cue the popsicle.
Sure, a store bought pop is great for a quick snack, but I’ve really been enjoying making my own. DIY popsicles are where it’s at: they can be as healthy or as indulgent as you like, they are relatively easy to make and there are endless flavor options.
Doulas of Cincinnati wants to help you stay cool, so here are ten Homemade Popsicles for you (and your family) to enjoy!
